Faculty Members Visit "Abnaa Karbala" School in a Humanitarian Initiative

In a move to strengthen social solidarity, faculty members from the Clinical Nutrition and Cosmetology & Laser departments visited the "Abnaa Karbala" school for orphans and underprivileged children.

The initiative focused on providing psychological support and fostering hope among the students. Participating faculty included Dr. Aaida Abboud, Ms. Ghufran Ahmed, Ms. Thul-Fiqar Farhan, Ms. Maryam Sadiq, and Ms. Ruqayah Osama. This visit reflects the College's mission to balance academic excellence with a deep commitment to community service.

Service to the Community: This initiative is a core part of the College's commitment to Community Outreach. By integrating students into real-world medical environments, the College aims to:

  • Support Local Healthcare: Strengthening the partnership between academic departments and specialized hospitals in Karbala.

  • Enhance Patient Care: Training a new generation of nutritionists capable of providing advanced dietary care to the women in our community.

  • Knowledge Transfer: Exchanging professional expertise with health cadres to elevate the overall standard of public health services.

Our Vision: The visit concludes a series of activities designed to transform theoretical learning into a tangible social benefit. Through these efforts, the College of Health and Medical Technologies continues to fulfill its mission of preparing highly qualified professionals dedicated to serving and advancing the healthcare sector for the people of Iraq.
