When Architecture Meets Intelligence… A Specialized Lecture at Al-Zahra Shapes the Future of Engineering
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, supervised by the Department of Architecture Engineering, and in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, the college organized a specialized scientific lecture titled “Redefining Intelligence: From Metrics to Processes.” The lecture targeted female students in engineering departments to enhance their understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and their applications in modern engineering fields.
The lecture was delivered by Eng. Saad Safi Yasser, a specialist in data engineering and machine intelligence, and team lead at major European and American banks. He highlighted the conceptual shift in understanding intelligence as an ongoing process based on learning and prediction, rather than a fixed measure. The lecture also discussed the role of intelligent technologies in accelerating professional and engineering performance without eliminating the need for fundamental scientific knowledge and specialized expertise, which remain essential for validating results and designs.
The event witnessed active scientific engagement from students, particularly those from the Architecture Engineering Department, who raised numerous questions about the future of engineering professions in the context of the digital revolution.
