A Presidential Visit to the College of Engineering and Information Technology Discusses Evening Studies and Academic Performance Development

The Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, received a high-level delegation from the University Council Presidency, including the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali Jadoua, and the Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Qazzaz. The visit was part of ongoing efforts to monitor the academic and administrative environment within the college and enhance institutional performance.
The meeting, attended by the Dean’s Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Atheer Nadhim, addressed several key topics, most notably the proposal to introduce evening study programs in the scientific departments. This initiative aims to expand educational opportunities and accommodate a larger number of female students. The discussions also covered a range of administrative and academic issues related to the teaching process and explored ways to further develop and improve it in line with current requirements.
