The College of Engineering and Information Technology, represented by the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering, participated in the activities of the Second Scientific Conference for Applied Projects 2025–2026, organized by the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Karbala, under the slogan “Makers of the Digital Future,” under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Heba Jabbar Al-Aqabi, and under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ghaydaa Al-Mulla.

The conference witnessed broad scientific participation from several Iraqi universities, where the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering presented six diverse applied projects that reflected an advanced level of creativity and innovation among the female students.

This participation comes within the framework of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities and exchanging expertise in the fields of artificial intelligence and modern technologies, contributing to supporting scientific research and enabling students to transform their ideas into practical, applicable projects.

The participating student delegation included third-year students: Sima Al-Mu’min Raheem, Amina Aqeel, Rawan Adel, Sura Haider, and Ola Najah, as well as second-year student Fatima Damyaa Shahzanan Haider, who presented their projects in the scientific exhibition accompanying the conference.

This participation reflects the College of Engineering and Information Technology’s commitment to scientific openness and enhancing the presence of its students in academic forums, thereby reinforcing its position as an active institution in shaping digital knowledge.
