The Al-Zahraa Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women continues to expand its laboratory and research services by utilizing advanced scientific instruments and modern technologies that enable specialized testing and analysis across a wide range of scientific fields.
As part of these efforts, the Center conducted laboratory tests for a comparative study investigating heavy metals in the edible parts of locally sourced and imported calf carcasses. The study aimed to determine the concentrations of several mineral elements and compare their levels across the examined samples.
These tests form part of the Center’s applied research activities in the field of food safety. Their results contribute valuable scientific data to studies related to meat quality, while also providing researchers with access to advanced laboratory capabilities that support the completion of their research in accordance with rigorous scientific standards.
