The President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, received on Sunday a delegation from the Health and Medical Education Authority, headed by Dr. Abu Al-Qasim Mazin Al-Mayali, to discuss prospects for scientific and academic cooperation and ways to strengthen partnership between the two sides. The meeting was attended by senior university officials.

 

The meeting focused on mechanisms for coordinating joint efforts to support scientific research, exchange expertise, and enhance cooperation in organizing international scientific events, with the aim of advancing academic and medical fields and broadening cooperation between educational and healthcare institutions.

 

The two sides also discussed the preliminary preparations and organizational and scientific requirements for the Fifth WANA International Conference, which specializes in stem cells, regenerative medicine, reproductive medicine, and infertility treatment. The conference is scheduled to be held at Al-Zahraa University for Women on December 17–18, 2026.

 

Hosting the conference is expected to further strengthen the university’s role in organizing specialized international scientific events and support its engagement with medical and academic institutions.
