The Al-Zahraa Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women continues to provide laboratory and research services to researchers by conducting scientific tests and analyses of biological samples in support of academic studies and research projects. These services contribute to fulfilling scientific research requirements in accordance with approved methods and procedures.
As part of these efforts, the Center conducted specialized laboratory tests on serum samples submitted by a researcher for use in a scientific study. The tests aimed to measure the concentrations of several mineral elements, including zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), and iron (Fe), using an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), an instrument widely used for the quantitative analysis of mineral elements in various types of samples, including biological specimens.
These tests form part of the research services offered by the Center, providing accurate measurements of mineral concentrations and enabling researchers to analyze their samples with precision and utilize the resulting data in documenting and publishing their scientific research.
