The Presidency of Al-Zahraa University for Women and the Deanship of the College of Health and Medical Technologies have consistently strived to keep pace with scientific developments in alignment with labor market needs. From this commitment emerged the decision to establish the Department of Aesthetic and Laser Technologies, which opened its doors to admit 94 students in its first academic year (2025–2026) from various Iraqi governorates.
The department aims to provide the highest standards of education to its students through a distinguished group of specialized faculty members in the fields of cosmetology and laser technologies, enabling graduates to become leaders in their profession in service to the community and in alignment with the vision and directions of the Al-Hussain Holy Shrine.
